Colleen is a bariatric certified nurse and an integral part of the multidisciplinary team. She is instrumental in preparing patients for surgery. Colleen assists patients as they enter the program, provides education through each step of the surgical process and works with the surgical coordinator and pre-anesthesia department to ensure that all patient-required evaluations and clearances are received prior to surgery.
She is a resource of information regarding the procedures and will answer any questions you have before and after the surgery. Nutrition is an important aspect of shedding this excess weight.
